Married to Anna Rickert

Employed by Kroehler Manufacturing Company.

He also served Euclid Lodge as Senior Warden in 1939, as Junior Warden in 1937, as Senior Deacon in 1936, and as Junior Steward in 1934 and 1935.

William Werner, 77, formerly of Naperville, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 1975, in Suburban Hospital and Sanitarium of Cook County in Hinsdale. He was born July 3, 1897 in Germany.

Mr. Werner was a member of Euclid Masonic Lodge 65 of Naperville, Aurora Commandery 22, the Tebala Shrine of Rockford, and the Faith United Methodist Church of Downers Grove.

He is survived by his wife, Anna (Rickert); and a brother, Herman Werner, and sister, Emma Koerber, both of West Germany.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Ackman funeral chapel, with the Rev. Leonard Sukut officiating.

Burial took place in Naperville cemetery.
