William Grover Latshaw 1915

Died June 9, 1976 in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois.
Married Ethel May Eichelberger in 1914, they had two children, Jane Elizabeth and William.
Naperville postal employee, mail carrier. He and Joe Weismantel were the first two foot-route home delivery mailmen in Naperville.
Also served as Senior Warden in 1914, as Senior Deacon in 1913, and as Tyler 1918.

Served Euclid Chapter No. 13, R.A.M. as High Priest in 1918.

Naperville native William G. Latshaw, 90, of 736 N. Washington, died Wednesday, June 9, 1976, at Edward Hospital. He was born here, Feb. 1, 1886.

Mr. Latshaw was employed as a mail carrier at the Naperville post office for 42 years, until his retirement in 1950. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 65.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; a daughter, Jane Scherer of St. Germaine, Wis.; a son, William of Chicago; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Ackman funeral chapel, with the Rev. Grant Graver officiating.

Interment was in Naperville Cemetery.
