Appointed as Naperville Postmaster, January 22, 1927, Assistant Postmaster in 1920.
Served in the Army during World War I.
Played the part of "Pa Perkins" in the play "Rosetime" by Rebecca Lodge.
Also served Euclid Lodge as Senior Warden in 1915, as Junior Warden in 1914, as Chaplain in 1921, as Junior Deacon in 1913, as Junior Steward in 1912, and as Marshall in 1917.
Served Euclid Chapter No. 13, R.A.M. as High Priest in 1920.

Sankey S. Good died very suddenly, Sunday, April 19, 1936 at his home, 634 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, Ill., and his sudden passing came as a shock to his many friends. He was born in Bernadotte, Ill., May 23, 1886, the son of Daniel P. Good and Clara Manbeck Good. At the time of his death his age was 49 years, 10 months and 27 days.
Mr. Good for 29 years had been in the service of the U.S. Government in various capacities, serving as seaman in the Navy from 1904 to 1919; enlisting in the U.S. Army as a private in Headquarters Co. Infantry School - October 24, 1917, and receiving his discharge February 7, 1919. In the postal service at Naperville post office he has served as clerk, assistant postmaster and as postmaster. On October 25, 1919, he was married to Evelyn Thornton at Columbus, Ga., and together they established a truly American home in Naperville.
Mr. Good was a member of the American Legion, Naperville Post No. 43, I.O.O.F., Naperville Lodge No. 81, Floral Lodge No. 265, Euclid Chapter No. 13 and Euclid Lodge No. 65, A.F. & A.M.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Thornton Good, his five year old daughter Emily Ann, three sisters, Agnes Schoeller of Racine, Wis., Inez Lindblad, Naperville, Vida Gasser, Loveland, Colo., and two brothers, Moody of Milwaukee, Wis., and Raymond Good of Green Lake, Wis.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 22nd, at 3:00 p.m. at the Arthur R. Beidelman Funeral Chapel in Naperville, under the auspices of Euclid Lodge No. 65. Rev. Dewey R. Eder officiated and the Oriental Masonic quartette furnished the music. Interment was made in the Naperville Cemetery.

Former Naperville Postmaster Is Dead
Sankey S. Good, 49, former Naperville Postmaster, died suddenly Sunday at his home, 634 North Ellsworth street. He was born in Bernadotte, Ill., May 23, 1886, and had been in government service ever since he was 20 years of age. He had served for several years in the Navy.
Mr. Good was a member of the Naperville Post, No. 43 of the American Legion; Naperville Post No. 81, I.O.O.F., Floral Lodge No. 265, Euclid Chapter No. 13, and Euclid Lodge No. 65, A.F. & A.M.
Surviving are his widow, Evelyn, his 5 year old daughter, Emily Ann; three sisters, Agnes Schoeller, Inez Lindblad, Vidan Gasser, and two brothers, Moody and Raymond Good.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, at the Arthur Beidelman funeral chapel, with Euclid Lodge No. 65 in charge.
Burial was in Naperville cemetery.
