Picture of Fourth LodgeThis is the fourth location where Euclid Lodge held their meetings. It is located at the northwest corner of Washington Street and Van Buren Avenue. The original building, owned by James Hunt, housed a hardware store. The second floor of Hunt's store was a large public hall in which many community gatherings were held. The first office of the Naperville Clarion was located above the hardware store. The Mason's met there for a number of years and children from SS. Peter and Paul School had classes there when their school burned. Abe Weisbrock was the last business man to hold forth in Hunt's old building. He had his Central Motors Garage there before it was torn down. A service station was erected there in 1939 by Ernest Balstrode.
