Graduated from North Central College in Naperville in 1924. Cost Consultant for Kroehler Manufacturing Company for 43 years.
He also served Euclid Lodge as Senior Warden in 1927, as Junior Warden in 1926, and as Chaplain in 1929.

Leroy H. "Roy" Kline, 98, a lifelong resident of Naperville, died Friday, September 15, 2000, at Edward Hospital.
He was born July 9, 1902, in Naperville.
He graduated from North Central College in Naperville in 1924 and worked at Kroehler Manufacturing for 43 years as a cost consultant.
He had been a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Naperville since 1916. He was a member and the oldest living Past Master of Euclid Lodge No. 65, A.F. & A.M. He enjoyed bowling and had bowled on the Kroehler League for many years.
He was an avid reader, he loved to play bridge, and he traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada.
He is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Kline of Naperville; a sister, Ruth (husband C.H.) Ladd of Hudson, Wis.; three nephews, Robert (wife Tinamarie) Ladd of Nipomo, Calif., Charles (wife Elizabeth Jane) Ladd of Hudson and James Raymond (wife Gloria) Leppert of Phoenix; and a niece, Joanne (husband Lloyd) Carlson of Woodhull.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera (Leppert) Kline, in 1973; and his parents, John and Mary Kline.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. VanBuren Ave., Naperville.
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Road, Naperville, with the Rev. Larry Hilkemann and the Rev. Michael Hickok officiating.
Interment will take place at Naperville Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Grace United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
