Brethren of Euclid Lodge, Greetings:

Since last month's entry, Euclid has been quite busy. On December 16th. We had our annual Christmas party. With nearly a hundred in attendance, a magician, Santa Claus, and great food, it was a huge success. A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Diane Will, the wife of Brother John Will, our Senior Warden. In addition to assisting Brother Senior Warden, she personally purchased and wrapped nearly 50 presents for Santa's bag.

The very next day, December 17th, following the District Breakfast that was graciously hosted by Wheaton Lodge, thirteen of our brothers attended the early service at the River Glen Church, in Naperville. While attending a St. John's day service is one of the Grand Master's
Award of Excellence criteria, this was a very special service. The River Glen Church choir and other talents exemplified a beautiful Christmas presentation. Among them was our own brother, Carl Crownhart, who sings bass in the choir.

At least seven of the ten newest members of the Lodge have returned on one or more occasions since being raised on December 9th. Brother of Euclid, on behalf of our newest members, I want to say thank you. Thank you for the time and energy you have dedicated to Masonry, and to making Euclid shine.

On January 6th, twelve Brothers from Euclid attended, including three who participated in the Officer's School, hosted by Bensenville Lodge in Elmhurst. The instruction was on the second section of the third degree. Overall there was a huge turnout, with Brothers in attendance from the 10th, 14th, and 15th Northeast Districts.

On January 9th, twelve brothers from Euclid Lodge drove to Elburn and attended Blackberry Lodge's Stated Meeting. Thank you Blackberry Lodge for such a kind reception and generous hospitality. We would very much enjoy the pleasure of your company at one of our upcoming meetings. Please stop by and make yourselves at home.

Lastly Brothers of Euclid, don't forget about the poker party on January 27th, and the annual favorite Superbowl party at Shrimpy's.

Anything on your table, Brother Secretary?
