Brethren of Euclid Lodge, Greetings:

Here we are in February already. Since last month's entry Euclid has been quite busy.

On January 22nd the District School was held at Euclid. Right Worshipful Brother Sullens schooled us in the proper way to open the Lodge 1, 2, 3. On Tuesday, January 30th, we conferred a first degree, initiating Brother J. P. Jones into Euclid Lodge as the youngest entered apprentice.

I personally want to thank all of the brothers who joined me at my house on January 27th for an all Mason's poker party. With the exception of the Bears performance, the Super Bowl Party at Shrimpy's was another huge success. All of the usual crowd was there, with a new twist. This year Shrimpy invited the wives. Only a few took him up on the offer. To those of you who put on your brave faces and entered into Man Land, thanks for coming. Maybe next year it will be a little more balanced. Maybe next year the Bears will be too.

At our stated meeting on February 6th, 2007, I had the honor of introducing Right Worshipful Brother Floyd H. Sullens, District Deputy Grand Master to my brethren of Euclid at his annual visit to Euclid Lodge #65.

On Friday, February 16th, several brothers from Euclid Lodge will be in attendance for the Academic Bowl Scholarship dinner that will be held at Naperville North High School. The Academic Bowl will be held at Naperville North High School on Saturday, February 17th.

Lastly Brothers of Euclid, please continue to show your support for Masonry and for our Lodge in particular, by attending all of the scheduled meetings.
